ABC Kids (Above & Beyond the Classroom) - Back to top
An
intergenerational Program called ABC Kids (Above and Beyond the Classroom) is partnered between Village Manor and McKinley School. After school two days a week, Second and Third graders go to Village Manor. During these visits, they have a snack and tell the residents about their day, play games, or work on seasonal craft projects. This concept brings two different generations together to learn from one another.

When you need support dealing with Dementia, Village Manor is there for you. They offer dementia education and support for family members and friends who have relatives with Alzheimer’s disease. Meetings are open to the public, for more information call 785-263-1431.
